I wrote that when I was like fifteen. […] I think it's one of the first songs I've ever written, […] I kinda taught myself how to play power chords on the guitar and I wrote that song and brought into my old band Grey Daze and was like, 'Hey, guys, what do you think?' And were like, 'Oh, you're really cute.' I was really young, like fourteen or fifteen or whatever. […] But it always stuck in my head, so I felt like this song might actually be good if it's been sticking around in my brain for fourteen years. Most ideas that I have don't stuck around for that long.
